Mumbai: Nippon Paint, Asia’s leading paint manufacturer, today announced that they have beautified the premises around Dr. Mehta’s Hospital, Velappanchavadi. Beautification of the city is a strategic pillar of Nippon Paint’s CSR initiatives. Recently, the brand had also beautified the Ranipet Bridge, CMRL metro stations (Wimco, Kaladipet and Toll Gate) in Chennai, amongst others.
Doctors, health professionals, and people who visit the hospital will enjoy the newly spruced up outlook of the hospital. Exterior emulsion and Exterior Wall Primer was utilized to beautify the premises. Nippon Paint’s superior Exterior will beautify and protect the walls. Through this project, Nippon Paint wanted to thank the frontline workers for their contribution to the fight against COVID-19. The walls are painted with murals around the theme – progressive care with compassion. It covers artistic work involving the brand’s mascot ‘Blobby’ in many settings. Nippon Paint has rendered support for the initiative by providing paint from their wellness range which is eco-friendly and anti-bacterial. The project took 20 days to complete, and 8 painters worked on the murals.
