According to reports, Nikhil Gandhi, the India Head of ByteDance-owned short video-sharing platform TikTok, has decided to quit and is currently serving his notice period.
Recently Gandhi was redesignated as TikTok Head for the Middle East, Africa, Turkey and South Asia.
Gandhi joined TikTok as Head for India & South Asia. Before that, he held the position of President & COO at Times Network. He had more than 9 years of stint with The Walt Disney Company as Vice President.
The Chinese social media firm Bytedance, which owns Tiktok and Helo apps, has shut down the Indian business following continued restrictions on its services in the country.
