News18 Network has launched a high decibel print and digital campaign announcing its leadership position across the Hindi belt and in English general news segment.
The newspaper and digital campaigns also said that the Hindi news channels from the group reach over 9.8 crore people, rivalling the reach of top four general entertainment channels.
In the front page jacket ads issued in today’s Economic Times, the news network highlighted its viewership numbers of its regional channels, along with the viewership of News18 India, the national Hindi news channel and CNNNews18, the English news channel from the group high.
News18 Network runs 21 news channels, reaching audiences in 18 languages.
As per BARC (TG: NCCS All 15+ | Period: Wk. 39’22, 24 Hrs, All Days | Market: HSM | 13 channels considered) News18 India has acquired 15.8% market share, cementing its position as the top Hindi channel in the country.
News18 UP & Uttarakhand has topped the charts with a market share of 28.6%, as compared to ABP Ganga’s market share of 26.2% (TG: 15+, Wk. 39’22, All Days).
News18 Bihar Jharkhand is the number one news channel in the state with a market share of 97.7% (TG: 15+, Wk. 39’22, All Days).
News18 Madhya Pradesh/ Chhattisgarh claimed top spot with a market share of 26.5% compared to IBC 24 and Bansal News’ 25.6% and 20.3% (TG: 15+, Wk. 39’22, All Days).
News18 Rajasthan claimed leadership with 57.9% market share, compared to 1st India News and India News Rajasthan’s 31.6% and 9.6% (TG: 15+, Wk. 39’22, All Days).
News18 Punjab/ Haryana has claimed number one position too with a market share of 32.1%, compared to PTC News, Living India News and MH One Prime’s 30.6%, 22.1% and 10.8% respectively (TG: 15+, Wk 39’22, All Days).
Within 50 days of its launch, News18 JKLH too has grabbed the top slot with a market share of 39.2% compared to JKL 24×7 News and Gulistan News’ 36.1%, and 24.7% respectively (TG: 15+, Wk. 39’22, All Days).
