The event brought together ministers, industry leaders, and stakeholders to discuss the state’s advancements across key sectors. The event began with Forest and Environment Minister Mulu Bera addressing Gujarat’s dedication to environmental conservation. He shared valuable insights into initiatives focused at protecting Asiatic lions in Gir, combating deforestation, addressing human-wildlife conflicts, and mitigating the effects of climate change. Minister Bera also highlighted the UNESCO recognition of Smruti Van for its contributions to environmental and disaster education, showcasing Gujarat’s dedication to ecological sustainability and awareness.
The discussions opened with MSME and Co-operative Minister Jagdish Vishwakarma shedding light on the success of “Make in India” in driving industrial growth, particularly in Gujarat’s semiconductor and automobile sectors, exemplified by Maruti Suzuki and Hero Motors facilities. He emphasised Gujarat’s ambition to become a semiconductor hub while promoting inclusive rural development.
Health and Education Minister Rushikesh Patel discussed progress in healthcare and education, focusing on expanding hospitals and implementing the NEP for global youth readiness. Followed by, Home and Sports Minister Harsh Sanghavi emphasising Gujarat’s actions against drugs and sports development for citizen welfare. He also shared the state’s aim to host the Olympics, underscoring its commitment to developing world-class sports infrastructure and promoting a strong sports culture.
The event concluded with an inspiring speech by Gujarat’s Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, reaffirming the state’s vision of becoming India’s growth engine. He underscored the significance of economic development, inclusive governance, and sustainability in achieving this goal. Expressing confidence, the Chief Minister highlighted Gujarat’s potential to set an example for other states and make substantial contributions to India’s overall development.
