Bangalore: New Relic, the Intelligent Observability Platform, has announced Ved Antani as its new Senior Vice President of Engineering and Managing Director of the Hyderabad Innovation Center. This strategic appointment underscores New Relic’s commitment to expanding its presence in India, leveraging Antani’s extensive technical leadership experience to scale engineering talent, foster workplace culture, and drive innovation.
Antani, a seasoned engineering leader with over 15 years of experience, brings a proven track record of driving scalable platform and product development across industries like eCommerce, gaming, and enterprise technologies. Previously, he held leadership roles at BetterPlace, Twilio, SendGrid, JioCinema, Myntra, and Electronic Arts.

In his role, Antani will focus on attracting and nurturing top engineering talent, contributing to broader business functions, and delivering innovative, customer-focused solutions.
Antani joins a robust leadership team in India, including Rohit Ramanand, GVP of Engineering and former Walmart technical leader. Together, they aim to build on New Relic’s remarkable growth in India since entering the market in 2020.

New Relic has seen tremendous growth in India, its fastest-growing market in Asia. The Bengaluru office, launched in 2022, grew by approximately 400% in 2024, while the Hyderabad Innovation Center, established in May 2024, recently moved to a larger facility to accommodate over 500 team members.
