Netflix has appointed Anthony Zameczkowski as vice president, business development for AsiaPacific. His new role includes leading and managing strategic partnerships and business development in the region.
Zameckowski joins the role with 17 years’ worth of experience in the media and technology industry. Prior to Netflix, he was running the international operations of Kleiner Perkins-backed startup, Victorious, a United States based digital company in the mobile video space.
He also spent eight years at Google/YouTube both in Europe and Asia and six years at Warner Bros as sales and business development manager. Zameczkowski will be based in Singapore, reporting to US-based, global head of business development at Netflix.
“One of the next steps in Netflix globalisation is about building and leveraging strategic partnerships in the region that will drive our memberships in Asia-Pacific,” Zameczkowski (pictured) said.
Netflix also recently hired Belle Baldoza as its new consumer PR Manager for APAC and promoted Taka Osaki, its VP head of Japan marketing to take on the role of VP -head of Asia Pacific marketing at Netflix APAC.
