Kochi: Mathrubhumi’s Jt. Managing Director M V Shreyams Kumar maiden travelogue titled ‘Yathra Parayathe’ was released by actor Mammootty along with MP Shashi Tharoor.
The travelogue is a collection of 35 splendid stories which speaks about his various experiences of travelling to destinations. The book release was attended by various dignitaries including Director Ranjith, Malayalam poet Rose Mary, Managing Director, Mathrubhumi, MP Veerendra Kumar, MB editor Manoj K Das, and MB News Chief Unni Balakrishnan who addressed the gathering.
Unveiling the book MP Shashi Tharoor said “When we read the travelogue we see the world through the eyes and experience of the author. The one who travels, and the one who returns is not the same person. Istanbul Saint Sophia cathedral has undergone many changes that happened historically, when we read about it, it gives us the opportunity to think about the changes happening in India in the name of Hindutva”.
Commenting on the same, M V Shreyams Kumar said “The book consists of my travel stories from the year 2006-2016, the writing style belongs to common man experience”.
