New Delhi : The maker of Cadbury chocolates, Mondelez India has appointed L&K Saatchi & Saatchi as the creative agency for its gums and candy brands Halls and Chocolairs in the country, a Rs 35-40 crore account that was managed by Ogilvy & Mather until recently.
The gums and candy brands of Mondelez are handled by Saatchi & Saatchi in the western markets as well as in Asia-Pacific countries such as China, Japan and Thailand.
“It is a big win for us as it shows Mondelez’s faith in the ability and capability of L&K Saatchi & Saatchi. While we will start with their gums and candy brands, we look forward to expanding our services to their other brands also,” said Anil Nair, managing partner at L&K Saatchi & Saatchi India.
Mondelez International, which also sells beverages, chocolates and biscuits, had appointed Carat of the Dentsu Aegis Network as its media agency across North America, Europe and APAC region. The account was handled by Sam Balsara-led Madison World.
