Mirchi has announced the launch of Ee Sala Vote Namde #BeraLutorsi campaign ahead of the upcoming Karnataka general elections. Through this initiative, the brand aims to raise awareness about election processes and the importance of exercising an individual’s right to vote among Bengaluru voters. Additionally, through a combination of on-ground, radio, and digital activations, the campaign seeks to reinforce the Bangalore elections date in the minds of the general public.
In partnership with the election commission, Mirchi has onboarded electoral officers including Mr. Surya Sen – Special Officer (Elections), Mr. Raghavendra V – Joint Chief Electoral Officer, and Mr. PS Vastrad – Head of SVEEP for on-air interviews. Mirchi RJs and the electoral officers talk about the election process and the dos and don’ts of voting. Further to this, Mirchi RJs Guru, Amith, Ashwini, Smitha, Raksha, and Vicky, are taking to the streets of Bengaluru every week to engage with the public. The RJs are testing the public’s knowledge about voting processes, understanding their sentiments, expectations from their leaders, and encouraging them to vote. That’s not all! The RJs along with popular rappers Gubbi and Emmjee also hosted a flash mob at BMTC, Jayanagar, and Shantinagar to endorse the voting power.
Additionally, the brand has launched multiple social media videos featuring celebrities such as Ramesh Aravind, Darling Krishna, Simple Suni, Dharma Vish, Ananya Bhat, Vasuki Vaibhav, Shubha Poonja, Chitra Rangaswamy, and Bhoomi Shetty to encourage people to vote. Mirchi RJs across Bengaluru amplified the initiative on social media by creating informative content series on Instagram. Furthermore, Mirchi has collaborated with Bangalore’s favorite rappers Emmjee and Gubbi for a rap video around elections and the right to vote.
Commenting on this initiative, M N Hussain (National Revenue Head), said, “Mirchi is known to champion topical conversations through its unique campaigns, initiatives, and collaborations across markets.
