Ho Chi Minh City: GroupM’s Mindshare has mandated Shankar Rajagopal to lead the operations of the agency in Vietnam following the exit of RoopaDhawan.
Dhawan, who has left the agency recently,had been with Mindshare Vietnam since 2006, Initially she was the managing partner and subsequently got elevated as country lead from 2011.
Apparently, Rajagopal will relocate to Ho Chi Minh City from China, where he has led the agency’s L’Oréal account since 2014. Prior to that he led the Unilever Malaysia account for more than four years. He comes with 19-year industry experience.

Mindshare Vietnam currently handles the accounts of Vinasoy, Acecook, DienMay Xanh and FWD Life Insurance with a head count of 130 people.
