Kerala News Media space is witnessing significant changes in the recent past with top-level changes in editorial departments. Following the change of guard in Mathrubhumi Group, it’s time for a change of guard in Asianet News.
MG Radhakrishnan has stepped down as the Editor of Asianet News. Radhakrishnan, who has around four decades of journalistic experience, joined Asianet News in 2014. He has worked as the Associate Editor of India Today and had a long stint with Mathrubhumi newspaper.
Manoj K Das, who left Mathrubhumi in July first week, will join as the Managing Editor of Asianet News. This will be Das’ second stint with Asianet News. He had a brief stint as Resident editor of Asianet News. Das started his journalistic career with The New Indian Express in 1994 and was later elevated as Kochi bureau chief, Deputy Resident Editor, and Resident editor.
Following the resignation of MG Radhakrishnan,Sindhu Suryakumar, who is currently the Assistant Executive Editor, will be elevated as the Executive Editor of Asianet News, as per sources. It is learned that Vinu V John, Senior News Editor, will be elevated as Coordinating Editor.
