Morris Garages has launched a campaign themed #OurEverydayVignaharta on Ganesh Chaturthi as a tribute to traffic police. ‘Vignaharta’ stands for remover of obstacles, as Lord Ganesha is referred to.
A series of images show traffic police in various scenarios, working through rains, heavy traffic and lending a helping hand beyond their call of duty. Set to sounds of traditional percussion, the film uses AI to create these images. They are also seen manning the traffic through the celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi, when traffic issues in cities like Mumbai are at their peak. The film ends with Lord Ganesha in the uniform of a traffic cop as the brand signs off with a salute to the everyday removers of traffic obstacles.
“In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, we often turn to Lord Ganpati, the Vignaharta, the remover of obstacles. However, it is often our police force that consistently assists us in overcoming obstacles, especially on the roads,” informed a company statement.
