Mumbai: McCann Worldgroup has been appointed as the regional agency of record for Sandwich giant Subway following a multi-agency pitch.
Prior to Saatchi & Saatchi held the account for Singapore market alone. However, this account was put up for review last October after Mandy Mak-Cheong was appointed as the company’s marketing director for Asia.
Subway has implemented a new structure for the APAC region last year and turned Singapore into its Regional Hub.
As per the sources totally Eight agencies initially pitched for the account in the first round, with Dentsu and MullenLowe being shortlisted alongside McCann for the final presentations.McCann will now be tasked with helping Subway deliver an integrated Communications for the whole of Asia Pacific region.
