Cochin: The Mythological show Suryaputra Karn, which aired on Sony Entertainment Television, is getting dubbed in to Malayalam language and it is tiled as Karnan. Manorama Group owned Malayalam general entertainment channel Mazhavil Manorama will launch the mythological serial in its Prime Time starting from 6th March 2017.
The Original version of the show was Created by Siddharth Kumar Tewary based the character Karnan from Mahabharatham. The show ran around 300 episodes. The Tamil dubbed version of the same is being aired on Polimer TV also titled as Karnan.
Apparently, the success of Hindi Mythological shows like Kailasa Nathan, Mahabharatham and Seethayanam has promted Mazhavil Manorama to explore the Mythological dubbing route to strengthen its Prime Time.
Suryaputra Karn was produced under the banner Swastik Pictures and Mihir Buta, Vinod Sharma and Utkarsh Naithani are the writers of the show.
The new show Karnan on Mazhavil Manorama replaces the fiction show Mangalyappattu that was currently being airing at 8.00 pm to 8.30 pm time slot.
Actor Gautam Rode is playing the role of Karnan and Saurabh Pandey doing the characters of Paundraka Vasudeva/Krishna. Others like Meghan Jadhav, Navi Bhangu, Farnaz Shetty, Priya Bathija, Shaleen Bhanot, Ajay Jayram, Kanan Malhotra, Naved Aslam etc are in supporting star cast.
Mazhavil Manorama also airs Athmasakhi, Krishna Thulasi, Manjurukum Kaalam, Ottachilambu, Komady circus etc.
