Kochi: Kerala’s formidable media conglomerate Mathrubhumi kicked off its campaign for bio-degradable flex boards. The initiative will include removing all the vinyl flex material used by Mathrubhumi from advertising billboards across Kerala and usage of only biodegradable government approved materials for advertising in the future.
This is a first of its kind initiative undertaken by a Media House and sincere efforts towards conserving and protecting the environment. The campaign will be supported by all the verticals of the group including MB Daily (Print), Club FM (Radio), MB News (Television), MB Online (Digital).
The campaign poster displays the simple message of Mathrubhumi stand on the usage of biodegradable flex boards which are 100 % eco- friendly and urges people to follow the same.
Speaking about the campaign, Mr M V Shreyams Kumar, Jt Managing Director, The Mathrubhumi Group said “This is a very small step undertaken by our organisation social responsibility towards protecting the environment, we hope we are able to make a difference and receive support from other media houses as well to practise the same.”
The campaign will be promoted in trade media and social media platform Facebook.
