Calicut: Club FM, the radio station which enthralls listeners in Kerala, will start broadcasting from the UAE on Monday. Apart from songs and entertainment programmes, Club FM, which emerged as one of the top FM stations in Kerala within a short time since its inception, will also provide latest news to listeners in Dubai.
Club FM UAE 99.6 Started their service in DUbai, Club FM is the radio division of the Mathrubhumi Group. It will be the fifth radio station in totality and first overseas FM station of Mathrubhumi’s Club FM. The station is being aired on the frequency 99.6 fm and offers authentic and edited news and round-the-clock entertainment and music programmes to the Malayalee diaspora.
Speaking on this occasion M V Shreyams Kumar said, “Club FM is a sunshine brand, cherished for its zest, positivity and humour, and Club 99.6 will also share the same qualities. We have assiduously channelised our efforts in envisioning this product for UAE, which is a good market for FM. We are sure that our new endeavour will strike a chord with the young and among Gulf Malayalees.”
Club FM UAE 99.6 launch function was attended by Dulquer Salmaan as Chief Guest, along with P V Chandran {Managing Editor}, M V Sreeyams Kumar {Director- Electronic & Media}, P P Saseendran {News Head}, P S Shree Kumar {General Manager} and K R Pramod {Chief Manager-Public Relations} along with other company officials.
Club FM 99.6 sports the tagline Ton Kannakkinu fun meaning ‘tonnes of fun’. The program line-up of Club FM includes Instant Coffee, Kalakkan Recharge, Ishtamulla Pattu Live, Break free, wishes to celebrities, stars and celebration of special occasions, Dubai-centric Life is Beautiful, Tea time show Ready Steady, Music Mojo, the radio version of unplugged music show on Kappa TV, Arikey for the nostalgic Malayalee and Happy Journey – a feel good programme.
The station started functioning officially at a simple function to be held at 9:00 AM on Monday. On the first day, Dulquer Salmaan, the brand ambassador of the station was available in the frequency of Club FM Dubai 99.6, to interact with the listeners.
