According to media reports, GroupM’s Mindshare India has won the Media Mandate of Maruti Suzuki following a competitive pitch. The automobile company had called for a pitch in November 2022 to develop new growth strategies.
Even though media reports estimated that the account size of Maruti Suzuki at INR 1200 crores, market sources revealed that the actual size is worth INR 500 crores only.
An official statement from Dentsu read, “We are proud of our six-year media relationship with Maruti Suzuki. We have enjoyed working with the team and what we have co-created together. We will continue to drive our partnership with them across Creative and Customer Experience. We thank them for their partnership and wish them success with their new media agency.”
In June 2022, Maruti Suzuki added Lintas C:EX to its roster of creative agencies, which already includes Dentsu Impact and Hakuhodo.
Mindshare India recently won the ‘Digital agency of the Year’ award at Advertising Club Bangalore’s Big Bang Awards 2022.
