Mumbai: Markets Mojo, India’s First Algorithms based FinTech Research Platform for the Smarter Investor has announced its appointment of media veteran Alok Nair as the CEO for theirto be set upmedia venture. The latest development is a step towards its pathof scaling up into the next phase of growth with a massive tech play.
Markets Mojo was started up in June 2016 by Joyson Thomas and Mohit Batra. Haresh Chawla,Partner True North and Ex-Group CEO of Network 18 is currently the Chairman and Mentor of the company.
The company was launched as a multi-algorithm based financial investment analyzing platform offering full coverage and unbiased information to an investor across all listed companies. The platform analyses over 30 million data points daily which covers market movements, fundamental research, technical, expert recommendations, news across web, portfolio strategies and other environmental factors that may affect an investors decision making process. Over 500 formulas run on every listed stock which is based on fundamental research, technical, expert broker recommendations, price movement, news and sentiment. All of this gets summed up on three broad parameters- Quality, Valuation and Current Financial Trend. All these selections are back tested for five years and results are publicly displayed on Mojo Stocks.

In the past Nair has worked with The Times of India, Network 18 and Bloomberg TV India across various leadership roles. He also has Entrepreneurial experience while setting up a few start-ups.
Prior to joining Markets Mojo Alok was running his media turn around consulting firm.
Also joining the yet to be named media venture are Don Zarrar as Chief of Sales & Sanjay Bhoir as Chief of Operations who were with TV Today Network & Neo Sports respectively until recently& also were part of the Network 18 team with Alok.
