Mumbai: Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival with Star, the biggest film festival in India, has entered into a collaboration with Pocket Aces, one of India’s leading digital entertainment companies, to launch a new campaign that goes live on 8th October, 2017. The aim of the campaign is to encourage film lovers especially college students, and young professionals, to attend the 19th MAMI Film Festival and enjoy the variety of world-class films that are on offer this year. Pocket Aces will come on board as the New Media Partner for Mumbai Film Festival 2017. The two organizations also intend to extend the partnership beyond the festival into the coming year and find innovative ways to engage film lovers across the country.
To kickstart the campaign, FilterCopy, the flagship channel of Pocket Aces, will create, conceptualize and release a video on digital that reflects the new spirit of MAMI, inclusive and fun, along with a variety of other written content and bespoke shoulder content. The video, which has been made in the characteristic FilterCopy format, will feature popular faces from the digital content ecosystem and will include a special appearance from renowned film journalist, Anupama Chopra, who is also the festival director of Jio MAMI with Star. All the content created in conjunction with MAMI will be distributed on FilterCopy’s social media properties including Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat. FilterCopy currently reaches over 45 million people on a monthly basis.
