MakeMyTrip has launched a campaign for its forex offering with the message that when you order forex from MakeMyTrip, it ‘comes walking to you.’
The campaign has been conceptualised by Nash8.
In the three films of the campaign, it ‘comes walking’ to customers who are travelling, carried by those featured in the currency notes.
In the case of a customer seeking US dollars, a lookalike of Abraham Lincoln does the delivery. A lookalike of the late queen of England hands over British pounds to a traveller in the hotel room. An Arab Sheikh hands over currency to yet another customer in another film.
The films are dramatic and set to music representative of the region where the currency belongs. They follow a common template of the high and mighty accompanied by bodyguards striding through the hotel, leaving onlookers in awe.
The campaign has also been released in print.
