Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services (Mahindra Finance) has launched a digital film for Diwali.
The film is narrated from the perspective of a mother. She starts off about her daughter leaving home to start life in a new city, reassuring her mother that she will take care of it (Main sambhal lungi). As the days go by, the younger woman starts taking care of things around her parents’ house. She takes care of the painting when she notices the old paint withering off. When her mother points to her dark circles, she buys her a new phone to be able to see her right. The fond remembrances cut to the present, when the daughter has for once made a request – she has asked her mother to make laddoos, as she is planning to be home for Diwali.
The parents are surprised when she reaches home in a new car. It is her gift to them for Diwali. Her assurance again is the same – Main sambhal lungi. The brand promises to take care of customers’ needs, just as our loved ones take care of our needs without having to ask.
The film will be disseminated through social and digital platforms during this Diwali, informed an official statement.
Over a period of a week, the campaign will be amplified on social media and other digital platforms, generating buzz around vehicle loans and other financial products.
