M.AD School of Ideas has announced a scholarship dedicated to late Anant Rangaswami, former Editor of CNBC TV-18, long-time advertising veteran and former Board Member of M.AD School of Ideas.
The platform stated that two students will be selected for a 100 pc scholarship for a 2 year course, including a one-year internship across four different countries. The scholarship will be given to 1 student in Bangalore and 1 in Mumbai.
Raj Kamble, Director, M.AD School of Ideas, India, commented, “Anant was one of the most passionate people in advertising, someone who truly believed in our industry and our talent and pushed hard for it till his last day. He was a mentor to all of us at M.Ad School of Ideas and to me personally, always generous with his advice, ideas and time. The best way to honour his memory is to create new talent. We can only hope these kids will be as angry, impatient, stubborn and dedicated as him.”
M.AD School of Ideas offers courses across design, digital marketing, strategic thinking and innovation. With its campuses in Mumbai and Bangalore, it has forayed into emerging marketing-tech areas like AI, AR, VR, Web3, UI/UX, Entrepreneurship, etc. In the last few years, the school has won more awards than any advertising agency in India.
