LightFury Games has named Anurag Banerjee as Co-Founder and Group CPTO, Chong-U Lim as Chief Technology Officer and Tina Balachandran as Co-Founder and Chief People and Operations Officer. They will be working alongside Karan Shroff, CEO & Co-Founder of the company.
Announcing the new roles on their respective LinkedIn handles, Anurag Banerjee shared, “I’m excited to share that I’ve recently taken on the role of Co-founder and Group CPTO LightFury Games alongside Karan Shroff. Our mission is to develop AAA titles from India, and we’re already making waves in the industry with our innovative approach.”
Tina Balachandran wrote, “Excited to announce my new role as Co-Founder & Chief People and Operations Officer at LightFury Games alongside Karan Shroff.”
Chong-U Lim expressed, “Really happy to share that I’ll be starting a new position as CTO at LightFury Games! Excited at the vision and ambition of Karan Shroff, Tina Balachandran and the rest of the leadership team. And of course, being re-united with Anurag Banerjee once again. Really looking forward to showcasing what we will be building in due course!”

Banerjee has spent most of his time at leadership roles with Ubisoft, Rocksteady (WB gaming studio) and Improbable. He also spearheaded AssasinsCreed, SuicideSquad, and BatmansArkhamsOrigin series, at LightFury Games. While ChongU has an incredible background of having worked at EASports and Improbable, Tina also has an extensive experience in the gaming sector as she previously helped scale Tencent with their expansion in India.
