The London International Awards (LIA), one of the world’s most esteemed global award shows, has unveiled its 2024 Regional Winners for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, highlighting outstanding achievements in creativity and innovation.
During the 39th Annual LIA judging, held over ten days at Encore at Wynn in Las Vegas, industry leaders and renowned jurors meticulously evaluated entries across various categories, ensuring every submission was given fair consideration. This year, LIA introduced a ranking system for its Global of the Year Winners, available for viewing on their Winners Site.
WPP was named Holding Company of the Year, with its agencies across 27 different countries achieving a remarkable total of 251 Statue wins, including 8 Grand LIAs, alongside 93 Finalists. This recognition underscores WPP’s extensive reach and influence in the global advertising landscape.
In a noteworthy achievement, Ogilvy was awarded Global Network of the Year for the fourth consecutive year. They also earned the title of Regional Network of the Year for both Asia and North America. Additionally, Ogilvy New York was recognized as Global Agency of the Year and Regional Agency of the Year for North America, highlighting the agency’s sustained excellence and creative leadership.
Among the celebrated regional winners, TBWA\Hakuhodo Inc. was named Regional Agency of the Year for Asia, recognized for its innovative campaigns that resonate with audiences. Furthermore, VML Ogilvy Japan earned the title of Regional Design Company of the Year, showcasing its exceptional design capabilities.
The awards also recognized excellence in production and post-production, with ROBOT Communications Inc. named Regional Production Company of the Year and The Mill Shanghai awarded Regional Post-Production Company of the Year.
In the public relations sector, MSL was honored as Regional PR Network of the Year, while Edelman Thailand claimed the title of Regional PR Company of the Year for its impactful communication strategies in Bangkok.
Finally, the Regional Music & Sound Company of the Year award was presented to CODA in Shanghai, acknowledging its contribution to enhancing the auditory experience of creative projects.
