Bengaluru: Lendingkart Technologies announced the appointment of Ratul Paul as Senior Director – Credit Data Science and Leena Shetye as Senior Director – Capital Markets. Ratul and Leena bring immense knowledge from the industry in their respective areas and will further contribute to Lendingkart’s vision of bringing MSMEs into the financial mainstream and taking measures to elevate micro-entrepreneurship in the country.

Ratul brings over 12 years of experience in Lendingkart and joins from Equifax as an Assistant Vice President – Data Science where he was responsible for building generic fraud scores to predict fraud transactions and build solvent scores to find good credit customers in the subprime market. Prior to Equifax, he has also worked as a Senior Analytics Manager at CTOS in Malaysia where he built and consulted 20+ machine learning algorithms with proven consistency.

LeenaShetye comes with 25+ years of experience in treasury, corporate loan, project funding, working capital management, and corporate finance. She joins Lendingkart from ECL Finance Ltd. (Edelweiss Group)where she worked as VP – Resources and was responsible for fundraising, banking relationships, and credit rating. Prior to ECL Finance Ltd (Edelweiss Group), she has also worked with EsselInfraproject Ltd as General Manager – Finance where undertaking project finance and banking relationships.
Over the past few months, Lendingkart has bolstered its leadership team with senior appointments.
