Mumbai: Lendingkart Technologies Private Limited, India’s leading fintech company, today announced the appointment of Asit Kumar as Chief Human Resources Officer and Nitin Shiralkar as Senior Vice President – Product Engineering.
Asit will be responsible for overseeing the company’s recruitment, talent management as well as strengthening workplace culture to create a vibrant workforce that is equipped, energized, and empowered.
In his new role, Nitin will bolster the product portfolio spearheading the company’s B2C product strategy in areas of digital Lending, xlr8 Platform for Offline to Online (O2O) channel, and App First vision to create enhanced customer experiences and a hassle-free onboarding for new customers to realize the company’s vision for financial inclusion in the country.

Asit Kumar is a seasoned HR leader who brings over two decades of industry experience across engineering and product verticals in multiple industries – eCommerce, Retail, BFSI, Healthcare, and Lifestyle. His areas of expertise include Talent Management, M&A, Rewards and Benefits, Policy Design, and Analytics. Previously, Asit was the Head HR for the Retail Tech Team at Jio Platform Limited. During his tenure, Asit has led key HR positions at brands like Flipkart, IBM, Infosys, Computer Sciences Corporation, and HCL Technologies. He has an MBA in HR from XISS and has graduated in Statistics. Asit holds a “Design Thinking Certification from IDEO” and “Global Talent Management Leader Certificate” from Talent Management Institute. He was also recognized as “101 Most Fabulous HR Tech Leaders (India)” by ET & World HRD Congress in 2020.

Nitin is a veteran technology leader who has over 20 years of experience across product and services organizations. Prior to Lendingkart, Nitin was a Senior Manager, TPM, at Amazon and in the past has been associated with organizations like Symphony Teleca, CoreObjects India Pvt. Ltd & Geometric Software Ltd. Nitin has completed his engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT).
