Legends League Cricket has announced the appointment of Munish Rao as Director of Business Operations.
Legends League Cricket comprises Twenty20 cricket leagues featuring retired cricket players. It has been played in Oman and Qatar and the franchise Legends League Cricket T20 has been played in India.
A new season is to be played in India from November 18 to December 9, 2023.
Munish brings with him over 18 years of sports management experience, along with investment management with a focus on sports assets and athlete management. His experience spans projects across India, Middle East and ASEAN.
In recent years, Munish has worked with Bahrain Islamic Bank, CG Corp Global, Rhiti Sports and SportsKingdom, informed an official statement. He has also worked on sports initiatives for MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma contributing to the business development and operation of their sports ventures, it added.
Legends League Cricket Co-Founder and CEO, Raman Raheja said, “After setting a benchmark with the previous three seasons, we are now getting ready for the next level. Enhanced fan experience is the utmost priority and our team will work on it. Business operation is the backbone of the smooth execution of the league. Munish brings immense experience from various aspects of operations and we are looking forward towards his contribution in the business.”
