Mumbai: Koo, the microblogging social media app has awarded their media mandate to IPG Mediabrands Initiative, according to highly placed sources close to medianews4u.
Koo App was launched in March 2020 by a Bengaluru-based start-up and is currently being considered as India’s homegrown alternative to Twitter. The app won the Aatmanirbhar App Challenge organised by the Indian government in August 2020 to foster homegrown innovation. Koo offers as many features as Twitter and also allows users to post content in Indian languages other than Hindi.
Though Medianews4u has reached out to Koo over mail for official confirmation, no response has been received till the publishing of the content.
