The new program aims to equip the professionals across sectors to build design thinking skills and empower them to develop innovative solutions for critical problems.
Design thinking is catalyst to innovation, especially when businesses operate in volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA) environment. In addition, with rapid digitization of business and emergence of AI and ML technology, ethics is essential in decision making while developing new products, which can have an impact on the society. According to the World Economic Forum, analytical thinking and innovation will be in the top 10 skills of 2025 with complex problems and critical thinking analysis. The fundamentals of this program will aid the organizations to provide solutions through three key lenses of innovation including desirability, viability and feasibility.
The new program offered by upGrad KnowledgeHut will enable the workforce to harness the power of diverse perspectives and creativity within a short-duration of 12-14 hours of immersive learning. It is intended to help organizations or individuals, or teams understand and navigate the ambiguous problem, define clearer and actionable problem statements, conceptualize fresh ideas as well as provide an understanding on prototyping and testing them.

The new program is part of aggressive expansion plans since becoming part of edtech major upGrad last year.

The workshop is immediately available to learners enrolling in its March, 2022 cohorts.
