Kerala: The event of South India’s largest broadcast digital cable TV exhibition has commenced yesterday and concludes tomorrow – Saturday, the 26th instant at Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Kadavanthra, Kochi, Kerala.
This great event is powered by Times Network is co-sponsored by the Television Channel stalwarts STAR, SONY and Discovery and organized by COA, CABLESCAN and Kerala Vision Digital TV.
The agenda began with the inaugural session graced by the welcome speech by Mr. N.E. Harikumar, General Convener of Mega Cable Trust, followed by the presidential address by Mr. K. Govindan, Chairman of the Trust. Mrs. Saumini Jain, the mayor of Kochi Corporation has inaugurated the function which was felicitated by Mr. Hibi Edan and Mr. K.J. Maxi – MLAs.
The inaugural session was concluded with the vote of thanks rendered by Mr. M. Rajmohan, Treasurer of COA.
The views and opinions shared during the seminar in the afternoon added value to the debate ‘Do the discussions in TV channels reflect social realities?’ and the participants from various segments of the media were seen absorbed by the voices and wises shared.
Today, the agenda has its fill with MSO-Broadcaster meet followed by the Technical Seminar with the topic discussion to scale and view on OTT – Over the Top. The day’s concluding session will be graced by KERALAVISION SHORTFILM AWARDS function.
Tomorrow, Saturday the agenda will begin and conclude with the sole programme of MIB, TRAI OPEN FORUM followed by the conventional welcome speech and vote of thanks by the dignitaries.
