Singapore: KC Global Media Asia, an entertainment hub in Asia, has announced a series of key promotions within its leadership team aimed at enhancing strategic capabilities and driving revenue growth across the region. This restructuring comes alongside the departure of Avani Bhanchawat, Vice President & Head of Revenue, who is leaving the organization after a successful seven-year tenure.
In light of Bhanchawat’s departure, several executives have been promoted to new roles, reporting directly to George Chien, Co-Founder, CEO & President of KC Global Media.
Shirlene Wu has been elevated to Vice President & General Manager for Taiwan & Greater China. In her new role, Wu will oversee strategic operations and content development, bolstering the company’s presence in the region. Having been with KC Global Media for eight years, she has significantly contributed to the organization through collaborations with tourism boards and establishing a dedicated advertising sales team for Taiwan.
Edith Goh takes on the role of Vice President, Revenue & Head of Media & Sponsorship Sales. Goh will be responsible for developing innovative media and sponsorship initiatives while identifying new revenue streams. With over five years at KC Global Media, she has secured major sponsorship deals, significantly contributing to the organization’s growth.
Bhuvnesh Kanwar is now Vice President, Revenue & Head of FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television). Kanwar will drive revenue growth in the streaming sector across Indonesia, South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. His six-year tenure at KC Global Media has seen him create branded IPs and launch KC Global Media’s first FAST Channel in India.
Bonnie Wiryani has been promoted to Vice President, Revenue & Head of Content Sales. In this position, she will focus on driving content sales in Asia and strengthening partnerships in the Pacific Islands and Southeast Asia. Wiryani has successfully expanded the channels portfolio and launched new markets for KC Global Media.
