Katonic.ai, an AI-ML startup, announced the elevation of Subhrajit Mohanty as Vice President and Head of Engineering. Mohanty will report to Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Prem Naraindas.
In his new role, he will head the team responsible for defining and developing the AI product roadmap strategy for Katonic.
Mohanty has over a decade of experience in the field of Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. He was part of the founding team at Katonic.ai, where he and his team spearheaded the complete conceptualisation and creation of Katonic’s flagship product, the Katonic Machine Learning Operations Platform. The platform has received many prestigious awards in India and internationally from reputed industry bodies and analyst firms like Everest and Frost & Sullivan in a short span of 2 years.
Commenting on the appointment, Katonic’s Founder and CEO, Prem Naraindas, said, “India has a treasure trove of talent, and when it comes to advanced techs like AI and ML, India is miles ahead of many countries. Subhra is one of the foremost AI experts in India, and I have seen him put his expertise and experience to use in building the Katonic platform from the ground up. Prior to Katonic, Mohanty worked for General Electric, Infosys, Grant Thornton, TEKsystems and Cerebronics, where he got first-hand experience in leading data science projects, managing large datasets, and providing end-to-end solutions to clients.
