Bangalore: The Karnataka Digital Consultancy Council (KDCC), in association with Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI), has elected Laudco Media’s Founder & CEO, Shubham Mehrotra as the State President, KDCC.
As the nation’s largest Chamber of Commerce & Industry for women, KDCC‘a role is to drive thought leadership and gender diversity, underpinned by a commitment to ensuring female representation and inclusiveness in India.
“I am honoured to be elected as the President and consider it an extraordinary priviledge to serve,” said Ms Mehrotra.

The council’s annual agenda, under Shubham’s leadership will focus on three key development areas:
- Challenging digital gender stereotypes;
- Promoting digital skills and education;
- Advocating for more women entrepreneurs
The 2020-21 mission for KDCC will be Skill Development & Empowerment: Women & Enterprise in Digital India, which will highlight and support the diversity of women’s digital entrepreneurial activities, which were typically unacknowledged in, and unsupported by, the wider entrepreneurship, tech and start-up ecosystems. This will be done through a series of virtual and on-ground events and workshops, which will provide a reflective and dynamic space for women creatives, techies and entrepreneurs to empower themselves and each other through collectively identifying and addressing the internal and external barriers that keep them from fulfilling their potential.
