Mumbai: Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd embarked on an initiative to spread the message of healthy living by taking up the task to transform the Sarhetta village of Alwar, Rajasthan. In association with Neemrana Group of Hotels, Kansai Nerolac painted the village with their range of healthy home paints to make the village a happy place.
Neemrana and Nerolac, with the help of renowned artist NeerajGoswami, painted more than 850 households, aanganwadi and two schools in bright, vibrant colours as a part of this noble initiative.
Kansai Nerolac’s vision was to build awareness amongst the villagers of Sarhetta and persuade them to keep their surroundings clean, healthy and happy through painting, art and colours. Nerolac, being a responsible corporate, took over the challenge to bring in the key element of happiness – colours – to the lives of the villagers to accomplish the goal of holistic development taken up by Neemrana Group of Hotels to foster development of villages in Rajasthan.

Painting at Sarhetta saw large-scale public participation, where all the villagers came together to paint their own vicinity, taking ownership of their own happiness. Other artists involved in the initiative were Vikram Kumar and Swapna Maini.
