Cochin: Kamal Krishnan, National Head – Media Solutions of Mathrubhumi, moved on from the Kerala based media conglomerate after three years of the stint. He joined the organization in May 2017. He is returning back to his previous organization The Times of India. During his previous stint, he was heading Response for Times of India in Kerala.
Announcing his movement on FB, Kamal Krishnan said, “Covid19 gave an interesting twist in my career, with an E-exit and E-join. Yes, I’ve moved on from Mathrubhumi and joined The Times of India, its probably one of those happy lockdown stories…”
In his emotional parting note with Mathrubhumi, Kamal said, “I made this choice purely due to personal reasons, and I can’t thank enough to share my gratitude to the entire team of Mathrubhumi. This great institution was an emotion that I loved and breathed last 3 years, and I owe it to the management, my team and the awesome colleagues and partners. It gave me plenty of opportunities to learn, collaborate, meet great people, work with energetic and enthusiastic team members and colleagues, make everlasting friendships, partner various trade and business forums, co-create innovative platforms, travel extensively and above all a good life. I was a little unfortunate that I couldn’t meet and bid farewell to my dearest colleagues and partners across the country due to this lockdown phase, and my heart goes out to each one of them for all their love and support. A big thanks to Shreyams Sir and his entire family for giving me an opportunity to serve this great institution, and letting me move on with all their good wishes and blessings. I will cherish everything that happened in my personal and professional life in the last 3 years with utmost respect and admiration.
“Looking forward to starting yet another wonderful innings with The Times…” added Kamal Krishnan.
