Kalli Purie, the Vice-Chairperson of India Today Group, has been rewarded with expanded remit as Executive Editor-in-Chief for successfully heading the business and editorial domain in the past.
Aroon Purie, the Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of India Today Group announced the development in an internal communication to the group’s staff members on the very first day of the New Year 2024. As per his mail, Kalli Purie is bestowed with expanded role as Executive Editor-in-Chief in addition to her current designation as Vice-Chairperson of India Today Group (since October 2017).
In her internal mail to staff members of the Group Aroon Purie said, “As you all know, KP has been successfully heading the business and editing domains for a while. In line with her role, I would like to announce an additional designation for her,”
Aroon Purie added that this will not require any operational change for now.
