Nidhi Razdan announced her return to NDTV on Twitter after a period of more than a year. She had left the channel after falling victim to a recruitment scam.
On her return, she said, “It’s time to stop the excuses, the whataboutery, and the obfuscation. Happy to be back home @ndtv. Watch ‘No Spin’, Monday to Thursday at 9:30 pm.”

Razdan had earlier mentioned in her blog about her terrifying experience with the scam job as a professor at Harvard University. With almost all the documentation process done and then realizing about the fraud left her angry, shocked and embarrassed. She decided to go public about the incident being upfront with the truth. Further investigations revealed that apart from her, several women from the media, and one from a political party, were also targeted by the same person/group of people.
She also slammed the University in her blog post, “No one at Harvard reacted when I publicly announced I was leaving NDTV for the University, I had even tagged them in my tweets where I said I was joining Harvard to teach journalism”.
Later many victims of cybercrime contacted her to share their stories and spoke about the fear of being mocked. She wanted them to know there was nothing to be ashamed of when someone becomes a victim of a crime.
