Chennai: SFP Sons, is an exporter of perfumes and cosmetics and owns the perfume brand “Jass”. As part of its “Whattey a Sodhanai” campaign, they have announced‘ Jass Make an Ad film Contest’, aimed at building a platform for the budding film makers to show case their talent. The topic chosen was ‘interview’ as it was relevant topic for the young aspirants and much in tune with the brand property.
The campaign ‘whattey Sodhanai interviews’ featuring Youtube personalities Gopi and Sudhakar received tremendous response. Hundreds of participants entered the contest and there were close to 300 videos as entries.
The eminent juries were Mr. G. Dhananjayan, Managing Director, BOFTA – Blue Ocean Film Studies & Services Pvt., Ltd., Mr. C.S. Amudhan, Director Tamzhil Padam and Mr. Karthick Srinivasan, Celebrity Photographer had spent considerable amount of time to go through the entries in choosing the winners.
The list of winners include Priyadarshan Joe Jerryand Adrian David (1st Prize ), Nandha Kumar2nd Prize) and Mohamed Asif Hameed (3rd Prize). The five consolation prizes were given to Girivasan Amirthalingam, R.Manikandan, S.Logesh, P.U.Sudhish and Venugopal Azhagarsamy
“Whattey a Sodhanai” campaign is a preamble to the way the media trends are evolving from disruption to transformation. The emerging tech gives more personalized experience for target consumers by making their involvement more unique and unforgettable by creating memories that will stay in once perception.
SFP has made a very good stride in domestic market and last year the growth was over 60% in which is well above the global fragrance industry’s average. This maiden initiative is to nurture the domestic market for the ‘worldofjass’ brands and stand true to the brand promise of Bringing Fragrance to Life.
