As reported earlier, PepsiCo India named Jagrut Kotecha as its new CEO. His elevation at the company from Senior Vice President Chief Commercial Officer – AMESA, has been effective from March 2024. This leadership change in the company’s executive team, was pronounced earlier.
Sharing the new role officially on his LinkedIn handle, Kotecha wrote, “Humbled and excited to embark on this incredible journey as the CEO, PepsiCo India & South Asia, as I take the strong foundation and leadership demonstrated by Ahmed ELsheikh to the next level – those are some big shoes to fill.”

Kotecha has been associated with PepsiCo since 1994. From leading Sales and Marketing (INDIA) to Senior Vice President (AMESA), he has had played various illustrious roles at the company.
Kotecha holds a degree in MBA, Marketing from SVKM’S Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies.
