Mumbai: Actor, producer Jackky Bhagnani is a happy man after having successfully reached out to an audience of over 5 million with his short film ‘Carbon’. The film has received a warm response and has crossed the 5 million mark in less than 48 hrs.

Carbon, a film with a message about Global warming and climate change is being touted as India’s first sci-fi short film, an under-utilised genre in Indian cinema today. With a great concept and gripping narrative, the makers have managed to leave a powerful impact.
Starring Jackky Bhagnani, Nawazzudin Siddiqui, Prachi Desai and Yashpal Sharma in the lead roles, ‘Carbon’ is set in 2067 at a time when oxygen and water have become commercial products for sale. Though the film is meant to raise awareness, it doesn’t compromise on the entertainment quotient. Produced by Jackky Bhagnani, Gautam Gupta & Deepshikha Deshmukh, Carbon has been directed by Maitreyi Bajpai and Ramiz Ilham Khan. The film has been unanimously accepted by online l audiences with a like dislike ratio of 1.7: 100 on YouTube.
The film industry too has shown their support for the film. The likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Sonakshi Sinha, Dia Mirza, Remo Dsouza, Diljit Dosanjh and several others tweeted the link to the film with their words of praise.
