Dentsu Aegis Network digital agency Isobar has looked to Europe for a new regional boss.
Sven Huberts comes to Asia from the Netherlands, where he has been Isobar’s MD since 2010.
His appointment comes eight months after his predecessor Jean Lin was promoted from regional to global CEO, replacing Mark Cranmer.
While in the Netherlands, Huberts rebuilt Isobar by merging three companies in the mobile, social and digital activation spaces into one integrated offering. He also led the recent acquisition of Social Embassy and under his leadership the agency tripled its profitability and won clients, including Bacardi, Grolsch Global, KPMG, Nokia, Mondelez and GM.
Lin commented: “Sven has an excellent business mind and track record, inspiring teams to deliver the ‘Ideas without Limits’ that transform businesses and brands. That, coupled with his entrepreneurial and energetic spirit, make him the ideal person to lead the agency in its next chapter of growth and success.”
Huberts’ arrival comes three months after the regional executive creative director at Isobar, Graham Kelly, left the network.
