Mumbai : Indian Radio Forum (IRF) will celebrate its 11th year of unifying key radio and media players across the nation. IRF has invited call for entries for The Excellence in Radio Awards (ERA) 2016. The best of Indian radio and the leading creative talents in Indian radio Industry will be honoured at the post-forum awards ceremony 13th May.
The deadline for submitting early bird entries is 19th February, after which a late fee applies. Last date for submitting entries is 2nd March 12:00 pm. All entry materials submitted must have been originally broadcast between 21st Jan 2015 to 15th Jan 2016. The Single entry fee will be Rs 5400/- and the Late Entry fee will be 7500/-
The Excellence in Radio Awards (ERA) started in 2006 and were created with the aim of supporting and recognising quality in radio broadcasting in India. The Awards celebrates the very best of Indian radio, honouring outstanding programming, on-air personalities, marketing & promotions and creativity within the industry.
The talents in various categories are rewarded with the specially created Excellence in Radio Awards (ERA) trophy, an exclusive commissioned statute befitting the prestige and importance of the awards. The ERA is the benchmark of quality by which radio professionals, consumers and advertisers recognise, reward and celebrate outstanding content and creativity.
ERA also has The Radio Pitch Challenge and it is opened to up to five media planning participants who are on the nominees list of ERA’s ‘Most Outstanding Use Of Radio In An Ad Campaign’ category. Media agencies will be invited to pitch a compelling and effective presentation of the product or service that they’ve submitted for the ERA to a bench of distinguished judges. They must demonstrate a clear understanding of the objective, challenges, highlighting the use of media platform and the effective role of radio in the campaign.
