Bengaluru: Infosys Senior VP Chandrashekar Kakal has resigned from the company.
Kakal, who was handling operational responsibility of the Indian Business Unit, is among some nine top-level resignations in the last nine months.
Kakal was previously the global head of business IT services (BITS) that contributes around 62 percent of Infosys’s overall revenue. He had also held the additional responsibility of overseeing the consulting and systems integration (CSI) businesses that contribute around 33.6 percent.
Recently, Infosys appointed B G Srinivas and U B Pravin Rao as presidents of the company and realigned business portfolios under the two presidents. Srinivas looks after global markets, while Pravin Rao handles global delivery and service innovation.
