Panaji: Airports Authority of India which manages around 126 airports all over India and Indigo 91.9 FM radio station has announced their partnership for the launch of Goa Airport Radio at Goa International Airport.
Through the tie-up, Indigo 91.9FM will now play specially curated music for the passengers at the airport. In addition, Goa Airport Radio shall have its exclusive Jock who would enthral the passengers by interacting with them, announcing the utility and flight related information together with playing passengers’ favourite music. Goa Airport Radio through Indigo 91.9FM, is all set to play impeccably curated music that is customized to map the mood and time of the day, making flying a great experience at Goa International Airport.
Speaking at the launch, Shri. B.C.H. Negi, Airport Director, Goa International Airport said “Goa is one of the most popular holiday destination in India and major portion of the passenger mix at Goa Airport is young and middle aged vacationers. He further added that Goa Airport is unique in the kind of passengers it handles. As per the demographic data of the Passengers travelling through Goa Airport, more that 65% of the passengers are below 40 years of age. Keeping this passenger profile in mind and to improve the customer experience, AAI has decided to launch the radio station at Goa airport in association with Indigo 91.9FM. This Radio Station as a service facility will help AAI to enhance the passenger experience and also make the time spent at airport a lot more engaging. The music that would be played out will be carefully curated keeping in mind the mood and the profile of Passengers.’’

Travelers flying in and out of the airport will now be able to listen to Radio Indigo across all areas of Goa airport terminal.With today’s Goa Airport Radio launch, Goa International Airport has become the first airport among the airports being operated by Airports Authority of India to have this type of facility for passengers.
