In a heartfelt tribute to the legendary voice that defined radio in India, India Voice Fest is instituting the prestigious Ameen Sayani Memorial Award. This inaugural award will be presented to renowned actor and voice artiste Annu Kapoor, recognizing his immense contribution to the world of voice artistry. A true pioneer, Kapoor’s career has left an indelible mark on the voiceover and dubbing industry.
The India Voice Fest Awards continue to stand as the country’s only exclusive awards platform for voiceover and dubbing artistes, covering a wide range of categories across all Indian languages. With over 45 awards presented this year, the festival honors the creativity and hard work that go into voice acting across various mediums, including TV commercial voiceovers, dubbing for animation, films, and audio dramas.
The Voice Talent Hunt 2024 has solidified its position as India’s largest platform for aspiring voice actors. This year, the competition expanded nationwide, with in-studio auditions held across six major cities—Mumbai, Chennai, Kochi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Kolkata. With over 350 participants showcasing their talent, the event affirms the country’s thriving passion for voice acting. Winners from each language will receive an assured paid project with a leading dubbing studio, as well as a mentoring workshop to further their careers.
Over the past six years, India Voice Fest has hosted more than 150 learning sessions, featuring insights from over 250 industry professionals. These sessions have provided valuable knowledge and growth opportunities for both budding and established voice artists. All sessions from previous festivals are available for free on YouTube, further expanding the festival’s reach and impact.
