According to the Warc Media 100 rankings, India has moved up to the 3rd spot with 491.8 points from its 5th spot last year.
Among the top media agencies, Wavemaker India made a significant leap to 4th place from 11th last year, with 192.5 points, while Mindshare India Slip by four places to the 8th spot with a score of 132.2 points.
Cadbury, which was ranked 45th last year, has now taken the top spot for media excellence with 223 points. The chocolate brand has four campaigns in the top 100 for both Indian and UK markets. The brand’s “Not just a Cadbury ad” campaign by Wavemaker ranked 10th with 65.9 points.
Unilever has topped the advertisers’ table for the fourth consecutive year, with 15 brands contributing to its overall tally. Among them, Dove and Lifebuoy secured places in the top 50.
