Networking platform Khul Ke was officially launched on October 2 on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary. Founded with a vision to provide an Indian space for open expression, Khul Ke is looking to change the way people in India connect, converse, and contribute to a participative democracy.
During its test phase, Khul Ke saw a month-on-month growth of 10-15 pc.
Khul Ke offers a variety of features, including support for both short and long video formats and use cases to promote deep conversations and MeetUp for Online Personal Meetings. Microblogging is another feature that allows users to connect informally and facilitate networking. Additionally, its private messaging service lets users make voice or video chats.
Piyush Kulshreshtha, Founder & CEO, Khul Ke said, “In an era where social media has the power to ignite change, Khul Ke is dedicated to providing a platform where every Indian, especially the young and inspiring, can engage in meaningful conversations, share their perspectives, and actively contribute to the fabric of our society. We are here to redefine the way we connect, converse, and influence, ultimately shaping a brighter future for India. The world of social media needs three foundational pillars – accuracy, credibility, and accessibility; we are trying to reimagine the social media ecosystem and give it a redo.”
Khul Ke includes RoundTable, a platform for topical and moderated conversations, TownHall, a microblogging feature, and Snip-It, which provides a short video timeline for sharing creative content in videos of up to 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
