Mumbai: IDfy, an integrated identity verification platform, recently announced the appointment of Malcolm Gomes as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this role, Malcolm will head IDfy’s Trust and Privacy Platform ’Privy’, Industry-specific tailored Propositions and global operations, while driving strategic initiatives to contribute to the company’s mission of eliminating fraud and establishing trust in the ever-growing transacting, digital-enabled economy.
Together with IDfy’s senior leadership team and in collaboration with all IDfy functions, Malcolm will strive to deepen customer relationships and impact, helping scale IDfy’s ‘Trust’ products and offerings across the value chain for new and existing clients, in line with the company’s strategic plan.

Malcolm brings nearly two decades of extensive experience in strategy, business-building, operations, and leadership across industries. Prior to joining IDfy, he spent nearly 17 years at McKinsey & Co., whereas a Partner serving Financial Services clients in India, SE Asia and Middle-East, he was instrumental in driving impact across themes such as new business-building, Digital transformation, AI-led service operations and enhancing customer experience, across multiple emerging markets. Malcolm holds a postgraduate diploma in management from IIM Lucknow and has a proven track record of driving transformative client relationships and delivering business impact across both; industry leaders and new-age players.
