New Delhi: The Information and Broadcasting Ministry has called for a meeting with representative of broadcasting companies to discuss the issue of pending license for TV Channels.
The meeting scheduled on 30th April 2019 at ShastriBhawan, New Delhi, will address the concern on pending Uplinking and Downlinking licenses of satellite TV channels in India.
Authorised representatives of the companies whose proposals are pending before the information and broadcasting ministry may participate in the meeting with the letter of authority to represent the respective company.
The ministry has also invited concerned parties to share the list of issues to be discussed with the ministry through email addressing to [email protected] / [email protected]
The statement from Vijay Kaushik, Under Secretary (TV-INSAT) from the ministry addressed to all broadcasting companiesstated that its notice, “It has been decided to hold a meeting on 30.04.2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the chamber of JS (P&A) i.e. Room No. 552, Fifth Floor, ‘A’ Wing, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, ShastriBhawan, New Delhi to discuss pending issues concerning Uplinking and Downlinking of satellite TV channels in India”.
