Mumbai: Hopscotch a D2C destination for kids wear has launched their first ever brand campaign. The campaign – under the tagline ‘We get kids’ fashion’ – aims to be a clarion call to parents that their kids’ fashion choices are unique, and their voices must be celebrated.
Speaking about their first ever nationwide campaign, Rahul Anand, founder, CEO, Hopscotch said, “Without having invested in brand marketing so far, we are humbled that Hopscotch has earned the trust of over 50 Lakh Indian parents. Launching the new campaign is an important step forward that enables us to take this loved brand to – and eventually win the trust of – more parents across the country. Our partners at Ogilvy have helped build multiple iconic brands over the years, and across categories. We’re excited by the campaign they have helped craft for Hopscotch, and its ability to win the hearts of parents.”
Kickstarting the campaign, which will comprise of targeted digital, influencer, and social content, is a launch video that highlights the story of a dad who takes pride in discovering – and declaring – that his daughter takes after him and not her mom. He is reminded later that when it comes to fashion, his daughter is just like herself, and nothing like either of them.
Sukesh Nayak, Chief Creative Officer, Ogilvy India, said, “It’s an age-old story in every home. Who has your child taken after – mom or dad? It almost becomes a fun contest between the two. While we love it when our kids take after us and look like us, parents tend to forget that kids have a mind of their own especially when it comes to things like style and colours. It is this uniqueness that we celebrate in our new campaign for Hopscotch, a brand that houses the largest collection of unique styles for kids and their unique tastes.”
